2018 Election of Trustees

I declare the result for the election of trustees that closed on Friday 13 July 2018.  I confirm that the official result was determined after the scrutiny of the electoral roll was completed, the validity of all votes was determined, and all valid votes were counted.

I therefore declare Eileen Hall, Holden Hohaia, Bronwyn Koroheke, Tamzyn Rose Pue, Sam Tamarapa and Raymond Tuuta elected.

The voter return was 40.15%, being 546 votes cast from 1,360 eligible electors, of which 61.17% voted via the internet and 38.83% voted by post.

Please note:

The appointment of the Trustees, as elected now requires confirmation by the Maori Land Court and once that has occurred then those newly appointed shall take office and those reappointed will continue in office.
