The signing of Terms of Negotiation with Ngā Iwi o Taranaki and Minister Finlayson was a momentous moment for our rohe. It was fantastic to have a Ngāti Maru presence at the signing! There will be opportunitites to contribute whakaaro towards what our Maru aspirations are for the Maunga. This will be captured over the upcoming consultation hui in April and May so keep a look out whanau!

We want to create a brand that our uri can recognize and affiliate with., we need YOUR help in doing this! It’s time to get creative and design a logo which you believe to reflect a visual representation of “Maru Ora”. We are offering one winner a cash prize of $500 and a taonga! So get amongst whanau and show us what Maru Ora means to YOU!.  The competition ends 15 May 2017, at 5pm.

The competition is open to anyone who has whakapapa to Ngāti Maru.
