SPECIAL FACTORS PRESENTATION
On 9th March our Negotiation Team along with the Rūnanga Trustees and whānau gave a presentation of special factors to the Minister for Treaty Settlements, Hon. Christopher Finlayson. This was a big step in our journey towards a settlement and we are very pleased with our progress so far and we are thankful for all of your support along the way!
Our discussions with the Crown still focus on the numbers of Ngati Maru uri registered with us. Please continue to follow up with your whanaunga and have them sign onto the register, we still want more of our people to be part of this journey and support the claims kaupapa.
FACTS THAT ARE UNIQUELY MARU
Over the next few weeks we will be releasing short clips and pānui on key Maru messages. These will be posted on our social media accounts so keep an eye out whānau! The purpose of this kaupapa is to educate others about our rōhe and grow our Maru presence! FIRST CONSULTATION HUI
